Filipino’s more concerned with tonights fight than they are about possible coup
Philippine Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez said that Filipino’s have been calling him voicing their concern over a possible coup, and whether-or-not it will affect the broadcast of Manny Pacquiao vs. Erik Morales.
For links to d/l the whole fight, look it up in my comments page. Di mashado maganda ang quality, pero di naman too biased like what Fil commentators did in their coverage. HBO anchors to.
By the way, here’s a pic of Pacman in Fightnight Round 3 computer game.
Corrupt Gerald No More
Corruption starts at home.
Yup that’s right, remember when your classmates used to take pride on their pilot ballpens and free bondpaper reams. At a young age, you might have been a little envious of these “fringe” benefits. But if nurtured well, as you grow up, delicadeza will carry you out of that outlook. And you’d be so proud of your parents that they managed without these things. You can walk chin up.
My parents managed to keep me straight for a while, but the schools – so unforgiving.
When I was in my first grade, this girl classmate of mine elbowed me during a class quiz. “Gerald, pakopya naman”. I shushed her telling her that it’s darn impossible. (I’m always yellow-bellied with these kind of things.) Then I guess she never really studied, pleaded again and again. “Dali na pakopya na… bibigyan kita ng tex.”
Her persistence paid up. From that time, both of us never had anymore problems. (Swerte mga tex ng kuya nya e. Lagi ako nananalo.) Then one time, another classmate of ours tapped my back with a pencil. “Gerald, pakopya rin.”
I said no. Not because I don’t want to. It’s just that I’m scared we would get caught since she’s situated at the back row. Then she asked, “bakit si texgiver pinapakoya mo?” (Sorry nalimutan kona ang name ng classmate ko.)
“E bakit nagbibigay ka ba sa kanya ng tex”, texgiver replied at the middle of the quiz. Our teacher asked about the noise but all of us kept silent. Parang napahiya ako sa sarili ko. Since that time, di na ko nagpakopya sa class na yun. If I can turn back time, papakoyahin ko sha kahit wala na yung tex.
Anyway, Philippines is one of the most corrupt countries today because mainly of this: mahilig tayo sa libre… libreng bondpaper, libreng ballpen. Pagtagal-tagal pera nalang. Libreng tex pa pala.
